Well, it’s that time again – time to raise a glass and
welcome a brand new year or maybe kiss goodbye to one that wasn't particularly
good to you. Time to make some new resolutions. Or just recycle the old
ones that you never kept or never got around to. Get more exercise, call
friends more often, clean out that spare room – okay, well, maybe more there’s
more than one room. Maybe there’s the garage and the basement too.
Basically, resolutions are just things we want to do. Travel more, yep. Eat more without gaining
weight. For sure. Become wealthy enough to never have to worry about how to pay
another bill. Oh yeah!
New Year's Day is kind of like having a lottery ticket right
before the drawing. There are soooo many possibilities! New Year's Eve on
the other hand can be kind of like April Fool's Day. Mother Nature, Father Time
and the demongods are all texting each other with the best of their spoiled
plans.
‘Instead of losing those 50
lbs he gained them!’
LOL
‘The boat sank before
it even left the dock!’
ROFL
‘Retired and going
round the world? Not! All 5 kids moved back in!’
LMAO
Mere mortals that we are, we just make more resolutions. So
go hurdle those barriers, thwart those demons, and sell all that junk at a
garage sale.
May the New Year be good to you, healthy and prosperous.
POSITIVELY!
